Welcome to ILM For Kids

Our mission is to provide a caring and homely environment to nurture young minds in an Islamic environment.

ILM For Kids aims to serve as a professional and structured learning centre which provides a right blend for academic and spiritual growth to young children.

Core Motivator - Islamic identity

The cornerstone of our academy is to encourage and guide children to learn key Islamic concepts along with regular academic curriculum. ILM For Kids creates an environment that is positive, progressive, inclusive, and cheerful. Our Islamic classes are interactive and enjoyable where young children think for themselves and long to know more.

Islam is the complete way of life and creating an Islamic identity in the children of today is and will always be our core motivator. With this in mind, we have the following programmes:

Our Philosophy

…From among His servants only those fear Allah who have knowledge.-Quran 35:28;

The importance of knowledge is emphasized various times in the Quran. Even the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “The seeking of knowledge is compulsory on all mankind.” Al-Tirmidhi

Gaining knowledge cannot be limited to textbook learning alone but should include learning about moral, spiritual and religious aspects as well. Whose Sunnah can be best followed except that of our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) who used various methods to teach details of Islam. He used varied techniques such as illustrative parables, narrative stories, presenting alternatives and gradually teaching difficult principles. Based on this, we believe imparting knowledge to children can be:

  • Direct - teaching and having interactive sessions along with parables, stories etc.
  • Indirect - observing and modelling Islamic behaviour in their parents and teachers.

We strive to use both methods at ILM For Kids to inculcate life-lessons. We also involve parents, as they are inseparable in a child’s learning process.
